Hundreds of people in the Southern part of Adamawa state have besieged Guyuk Cottage Hospital for free medical outreach sponsored by Senator Binos Dauda Yareo, Senator representing Adamawa South in the National Assembly.

Senator Binos Dauda Yareo while flagging off the programme says the health of the people is his priority, hence sponsoring the three-day free medical outreach for people of the constituency.

“The medical outreach would impact on the most vulnerable in the society and the medical personnel in the team came from Abuja, Benue and Plateau states”.

While reiterating his commitment towards reaching out to more people in the nine local government areas in the zone, the senator appreciated the gesture of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Council Chairman Guyuk Local Government and Kwandi Nuguraya as well as the state Ministry of Health for providing the enabling environment for the exercise.

In a remark, the Leader of the Medical Team, Dr. Dah, said the senator had begun the outreach in Demsa and Numan so as to provide health at no cost to the electorates.

He explained that Senator Yareo has shouldered all services and medication to be rendered to the patients.

He explained that relatives of those who would undergo surgery would be required to donate blood.

A representative of the Chairman Guyuk local government Deacon Ephraimu Donkol described the programme as the dividend of democracy, commended the effort of the senator, and called on the people to take advantage of the exercise.

The paramount ruler in the area, Kwandi Nuguraya, Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda II expressed delight over the commencement of the free medical outreach in Guyuk and commended Senator Binos for the exercise.

He urged people of the area to take advantage of the exercise and to adhere to prescription by the medical personnel.
