Deborah Okezie, mother of the 11-year-old boy who was molested in school has called out Reno Omokri, a former media aide to the then President Goodluck Jonathan for making threats against her.
The mother made this indication on Thursday in a video posted on her Facebook page.
Recall that she had earlier alleged that her son, Don Davis was harassed and sexually molested by his pairs, assaulted by the staff while in Deeper life High, Uyo, Akwa Ibom in a video that has now gone viral.
Following, the Magistrate court in Uyo charged the school principal, Mrs. Ndidi Solomon and four others for unlawfully and indecently assaulting Don-Davies Archibong.
Deborah said that although the case is still been handled by the court of law, threats against herself and her son from the church fanatics have been unabated with many sending vile words to her from time to time.
According to her, Reno Omokri had asked her to apologise to the church on a national newspaper or face the possible consequences
“Please stop the threats, it getting too much. The case is in court, let those in charge handle it. One Mr. Reno Omokri called me and asked me to apologise on national tv or a national newspaper and If I don’t, I’ll have to deal with whatever I see. I don’t understand what I am apologising for or who am I to beg. To me, that is a threat.
” Someone sent me a message saying; how was the burial of your son? You are fighting a church, definitely, you will bury your son. This thing is killing, we cannot say because the matter is in court, I will keep quiet and die inside,” she said.
Two weeks ago, Reno Omokri had kicked against the media attack on the General Overseer of Deeper Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, following the outcry of Deborah.
He stated that the media lynching on him was unhelpful and can be likened to blaming Christ for Judas’s behaviour.
