ABUJA — The draw for qualifiers for the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be conducted on Monday in Cairo, Egypt.
The draw will hold at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, tagged “Morocco 2022”, will pit the continent’s finest women’s football teams against each other next year.
The competition is also a qualifier for the FIFA Women’s World Cup billed for Australia and New Zealand in 2023.
CAF will also at Monday’s occasion conduct two more draws.
These are the African Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup slated for India and the 2022 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup billed for Costa Rica.
