LAGOS — Last December, a video of Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, and Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan Ibile snubbing each other during Buju’s concert at Balmoral Convention Center, Victoria Island Lagos got tongues wagging.
In the video, BigWiz was seen exchanging warm pleasantries with other music stars he met at the place while Zlatan stood in close proximity. The Zanku crooner did not make any attempt to speak to Wiz, neither did the Essence hitmaker try to greet him.
It’s widely believed that Zlatan’s close association with Davido, Wizkid’s main musical antagonist was the reason for the frosty ambiance created when the duo met. This development invariably caused a cacophony of divergent views online, with some taking sides on who should have been the first to reach out for a handshake or greeting.
However, in a new video, uploaded by Instablog it seems both singers have decided to settle their differences as they were seen having a handshake and tightly hugging each other while having a conversation at an event.
