LAGOS — Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo has said that marriage and being a mother no longer validates a woman.
Speaking during an interview with Naija Hood Rep Reality TV show, RMD noted that gone are the days when women are defined by marriage and motherhood.
He advised young ladies to go after their heart desires, and do whatever makes them happy; even if it means becoming a mother or something else.
According to the actor, “The time that marriage used to define a woman has passed. The time that being a mother defines the woman has passed.
“If it’s a mother you want to be, go ahead and be the mother. Whatever makes you feel like if you don’t do it, you wouldn’t be able to drink water and drop cup, do it.”
