Barely a week after he appointed eight special advisers, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of two additional special advisers.
This is contained in a statement from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The new appointees are Hadiza Bala Usman, former managing director of the Nigeria Port Authority, who will serve as the special adviser on policy coordination and Hannatu Musa Musawa, who has been appointed as the special adviser for culture and entertainment economy.
The previously-appointed special advisers include Dele Alake, special adviser on special duties, communications and strategy; Nuhu Ribadu, special adviser on security and Wale Edun, special adviser on monetary policies.
Others are Yau Darazo, special adviser on political and intergovernmental affairs; Olu Verheijen, special adviser on energy; Zacchaeus Adedeji, special adviser on revenue; John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, special adviser on industry, trade and investment and Salma Ibrahim Anas, special adviser on health.
According to the statement, President Tinubu also appointed two senior special assistants namely Sen. Abdullahi Abubakar Gumel and Hon. (Barr) Olarewaju Kunle Ibrahim as senior special assistant on national assembly matters (Senate) and senior special assistant on national assembly matters (House of Representatives), respectively.
Similarly, the President further approved the appointments of other military officers in the Presidential Villa as follows: Maj. Isa Farouk Audu, commanding officer of the State House artillery and Capt. Kazeem Olalekan Sunmonu, second-in-command of the State House artillery.
Others include Maj. Kamaru Koyejo Hamzat, commanding officer of the State House military intelligence; Maj. TS Adeola, commanding officer of the State House armament and Lt. A. Aminu, second-in-command of the State House armament.
President Tinubu also approved the following appointments: Col. Adebisi Onasanya, Brigade of Guards Commander; Lt. Col. Moshood Abiodun Yusuf, 7 Guards Battalion, Asokoro, Abuja; Lt. Col. Auwalu Baba Inuwa 177 Guards Battalion, Keffi, Nasarawa State; Lt. Col. Mohammed J. Abdulkarim, 102 Guards Battalion, Suleja, Niger and Lt. Col. Olumide A. Akingbesote, 176 Guards Battalion, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
