The Enugu State Government has suspended the signing and issuance of Certificates of Occupancy, Deeds and other land instruments by the State Ministry of Lands and Urban Development.

The notice of the suspension signed by the Secretary to the State Government Prof. Chidiebere Onyia was made available to newsmen on Wednesday; the suspension takes effect from Wednesday 21st June 2023.
The SSG further reminded the general public that Certificates of Occupancy can only be validly signed by the Governor of the State in line with the provisions of the law.
