Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has expressed shock over the demise of former House of Representatives Member, Hon. Mohammed Ibrahim Idris, who died on April 10th.
The former Governor offered condolences to Kogi State former Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris and his family over the death of his son, Mohammed Idris, who served as the representative for Olomaboro, Ankpa, and Omala Federal Constituency from 2011 to 2015.
A press statement by the Media Office of former Governor Bello noted that the immediate past Governor fondly remembers the late lawmaker as a progressive politician and a proud ambassador of the state, who navigated the political landscape with fairness and integrity.
Yahaya Bello extends his heartfelt condolences and words of solace to the grieving father, former Governor Ibrahim Idris, emphasizing that Mohammed lived a life of peace and served as a shining example for others to follow.
While urging the family to find comfort in Mohammed’s impactful legacy, Bello prayed to Allah to grant the departed soul eternal peace.
He also asked for divine strength for both the immediate and extended families to endure the profound loss.
