Preparations are now at an advanced level ahead of the June 21st, 2024 edition of the Africa Illustrious Award and Tech Summit, slated to be held at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. The Africa Illustrious Award is a meritorious recognition given to Africans from all works of life across continental Africa and the diaspora, for their positive contribution to the betterment of their community through what they do.
For about five years now, the Africa Illustrious Award has trailed and brought to the fore, many Africans making a positive impact through any work they do that improves life and living in their community. Some of the categories of awards given are; the Personality of the Year award, Excellence Award in Community Service, award of Excellence in Academia, Tech Invention, and Innovation. There are also awards of Excellence in Business and Entrepreneurship, Public Service awards, and sports categories that include football and other sports, among many others. Corporate establishments that are also making real positive contributions to their immediate communities are also recognized.
The Africa Illustrious Award aims at deliberately enthroning excellence and quality service at all levels, by recognizing and honoring those making little or big impacts on their communities.
This June 2024 edition would also feature a tech summit, as a means of harnessing young talents in Africa’s budding tech industry, as well as encouraging more young people to do more in tech while also using tech to advance solutions for Africa’s problems.
Ebuka graduated with a second-class upper-division degree in Political Science from the University of Calabar in Nigeria. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Political Science with a specialization in Government and Development Studies from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria. His academic background and professional experience have equipped him with a deep understanding of political dynamics and governance issues.
