NewsNigeriaPolitics“Truth has Prevailed” Chief Edozie Njoku Says Amidst  News of INEC Recognition

Chief Edozie Njoku, has reacted to the news of his recognition on Tuesday afternoon by INEC, as the substantive National Chairman of APGA.

Chief Njoku in an exclusive phone conversation with the West African Pilot News said, “Truth has prevailed and justice has been served.”

For about five years now, there have been several stories surrounding the APGA National Chairmanship. But in all, Chief Njoku, at several times was described as an intruder and unknown to the party by especially the former leadership of the party. This is despite existing court judgments recognizing Chief Edozie Njoku as the rightful National Chairman of APGA.

However, at around 3 pm on Tuesday, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa is still enlisted on the INEC website as the National Chairman of APGA. Change on this list is still being expected and will ultimately put the current argument to final rest.

Speaking on what lies ahead for APGA under his leadership, Chief Edozie Njoku said that the task ahead is to unite the party and close ranks so the party can move forward. He also regretted that it took this long for his legitimate position in APGA to be recognised by the INEC.
