The Ekiti State Government has asked the general public to disregard the false information on ₦25,000 Christmas cash grant from Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State.
A press statement on Thursday signed by Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Olayinka Oyebode, charged the people of the state to remain vigilant and refrain from providing personal information to unauthorized websites or individuals.
The statement reads, “The Governor does not engage in any form of cash grant or cash distribution through unofficial channels or online platforms.
“We urge the people of the state to remain vigilant and not to provide personal information to unauthorized websites or individuals who are out to defraud them.
“All official communications from the Ekiti State Government are disseminated through official channels and designated state officials.” He added.
