The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejoiced with Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
The party, in a goodwill message on Friday, signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, urged Nigerians to sustain their prayers for peace, unity, and progress of the nation.
The message reads, “A major Islamic festival to express gratitude to Allah for strength during the holy month of Ramadan, Eid-el-Fitr marks the successful completion of the month-long fasting, spiritual reflection and obedience.
“It symbolises spiritual renewal and fosters family and community bonds through charity, prayer, fellowship, and peaceful coexistence.
“As we celebrate, we urge Nigerians to sustain their prayers for peace, unity and progress of our dear nation, while upholding the virtuous essence of Ramadan, including penitence, sacrifice and obedience.
“The occasion of Eid-el-Fitr also beckons us to reach out to the needy and less privileged around us with kindness, love, and fellowship.
“May the prayers and sacrifices of the faithful bring more peace and unity to our country as we work together for enduring progress and shared prosperity. Ramadan Kareem, dear compatriots!”
