Arewa Youth Advocacy for Good Governance has endorsed and declared support for Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for the 2023 general election.
According to Sahara Reporters, the group, which comprises youths from 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory, announced its preferred presidential candidate in a Facebook post on Friday.
The group said Sowore deserves to be Nigeria’s next president because he “is not a fake promiser, not a political liability,” adding that “he is young, youthful, mature, experienced and fabulous.”
The group, with headquarters in Katsina State, said it has started mobilising support for the AAC candidate in the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
