Chief Jide Awe, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  has  described Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory at the presidential poll as very technical even as he congratulates the former Lagos State Governor, pointing out that his emergence  has rendered ethnic politics useless.

Awe made the remark in Ado-Ekiti in a chat with journalists, stressing that the victory for the APC presidential candidate is not for him alone but for the entire citizens of the country.

Awe who is also the Special Adviser (SA), Political to Ekiti State Governor described  Tinubu’s  victory as the will of God and stated that it is not out of place for losers in elections to complain.

Awe said, “Tinubu’s presidential victory was long envisaged before now. He is a man with a bold heart despite the challenges he faced on his way, he still went ahead to win the presidential election.

He added, “Tinubu’s is not just a politician but a distant runner that is focused and straight forward in all ramifications.

Alluding to Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Awe described the election as very technical and congratulated Tinubu for winning in some key areas in the north where the giant fell.

He maintained that if Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party  could have the entire South-East region, where the agitation is coming from now, he stressed that the APC is agitating for restructuring and good governance for the people of Nigeria.

The APC chieftain pointed out that a loser in any election will always complain, and that is what is seen from the opposition who thought they would win the election. “The victory has come for Asiwaju, and for Nigerians,” Awe said.
