The Super Eagles have scaled to the quarterfinals of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, tournament.
This followed Nigeria’s victory over the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on Saturday night.
The score line was 2-0 in favour of the Nigerian team.
Ademola Lookman netted the first goal in the 36th minute and doubled it seconds before the referee blew the final whistle in the 90th minute.
The Super Eagles’ next game will be with the Black Antelopes of Angola as Nigerians are expectant that the country will advance to the semifinals.
