To determine residents’ risk of exposure to Covid-19, the Enugu State Government in collaboration with e`CLAT, an Interswitch HealthTech company has rolled out an online assessment platform for the public to self-assess themselves for coronavirus.
“We urge the public to take advantage of the assessment platform, a measure put in place by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to contain the disease”. This was contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Emmanuel Ikechukwu Obi.
The Enugu State COVID-19 Assessment Platform is an assessment tool that determines ones risk of exposure; individuals are expected to answer a total of 11 leading questions on the online platform. They are also expected to fill a brief bio data.
“It is not diagnostic and responses to the questions are monitored on a dashboard at the State Ministry of Health and promptly followed up by the State Emergency Operation Centre,” Obi further explained.
The internet link to the platform is https://enugu-covid19.eclathealthcare.com.
But for individuals who do not have access to the Internet or a smartphone, a telephone line and a USSD code can be used. The telephone line has 3 language communication options; English, Pidgin or Igbo Languages.
The telephone number is 01 440 0037 while USSD code is *723*19*12#..
