The member representing Nasarawo Binyeri Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr. Umar Nashon Gubi, has donated a brand new ambulance to Tola Primary Health Care Center in Mayo, Belwa Local Government Area.
Presenting the ambulance in Tola, Nashon Gubi said the project is part of the promise made to the electorate during the electioneering campaign in 2019.
“The decision to donate the ambulance to Tola PHC is to ensure that Nasarawo/Binyeri Constituency and its environs, especially the rural areas, have direct access to quality healthcare.
“Everything will be done to ensure that one of the health care facilities is upgraded to ultra-modern standard for effective service delivery to the people.
“I saw the need for intervention in the health sector to complement the effort of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and decided to put it upon myself to provide quality healthcare not minding the harsh economic situation”. He added.
Receiving the ambulance, the Ward Development Committee (WDC) Chairman in Tola, Alhaji Abubakar Hammantukur Tukur, thanked the lawmaker for the gesture.
In a remark, the District Head of Tola, Alhaji Yunusa Ardumi appreciated the lawmaker for solving the challenges faced by the Center.
In his address, the Chairman of Mayo Belwa Local Government Mr. Gershon Kasuwa who was represented by Muhammad Umar Jega described Hon. Nashon is a true representative who puts the interest of his people above his interest.
Speaking on behalf of the benefiting community Alhaji Umar Modibbo expressed their appreciation to the lawmaker and promised that they will redouble their support him in the provision of democracy dividends to the constituency.
