As part of the contribution to the upliftment of education, the senator representing Adamawa Central senatorial zone, Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani has distributed furniture, Customized writing, and working materials to eighty-six (86) Pre-primary and primary schools in her constituency.
The benefitting schools are Yola North-13, Yola South-12, Girei-9, Fufore-13, Song-11, Gombi-11, and Hong-14.
Customized Exercise Books, Text Books, sets of students customized Tough Plastic Table, sets of students customized Tough Plastic Chairs, Mathematical Teaching Kits, Mathematical sets, Packs of Pens, Packs of Pencil, Whiteboards, Tables for Teachers, Tables for Head Teachers, chairs for Teachers, chairs for Head Teachers, A4 Paper, LaserJet Printers, Desktop computers, UPS, and Generators.
While presenting the instructional materials to the Education Secretaries of the seven Local Governments, Senator Binani said the intervention is aim at strengthening basic education and renewing hope for children who are leaders of tomorrow.
According to the Senator, “This particular event is important and very dear to my heart as it aims at strengthening our basic education thereby renewing hope for our children who the leaders of tomorrow” Binani added that “we are flagging off 146 different interventions of instructional materials”.
The Education Secretaries in their separate responses thanked her for the gesture and pledged fair distribution of the materials
In his remark, the Acting Adamawa APC Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal lauded the Senator for the unprecedented representation, noted that in the history of politics in Adamawa, Senator Binani has broken the record and pray that Allah will continue to give her strength to do more.
Alhaji Bilal thanked the Senator for justifying the confidence reposed on her.
