AWKA — Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer -PPRO, CSP Haruna Mohammed, has bowed out as the spokesman of the Anambra State Police Command, following his deployment as Officer in Charge –OC of Alternative  Dispute Resolution and Anti-piracy Unit, of the Nigeria Police Force. In his place, the Force has appointed DSP Ikenga Tochukwu.

The new PPRO is a graduate of Psychology from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, to resume as the new Police spokesman for Anambra Police Command.

Before his posting as the new Anambra PPRO, DSP Tochukwu was a Staff Officer at the Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Department, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja. He is an Associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.

In his last press release as Anambra PPRO, CSP Haruna informed that hereafter, DSP Tochukwu will take charge as the Command’s mouthpiece. “DSP Ikenga Tochukwu will henceforth spearhead all Police Public activities in Anambra State, including press briefing and police media relations”. Mr. Haruna further asked that media practitioners accord the new PPRO all the support he requires. He also informed that he will be resuming as the OC of Alternative Dispute Resolution/Anti-piracy Unit of the Police Force.

CSP Haruna Mohammed finally thanked Ndi Anambra and media practitioners for all the support he was given throughout his time as PPRO, Anambra Police Command. “I want to seize this opportunity to once again thank Ndi Anambra and the general public for giving me all the necessary support to contribute my quota towards promoting safety and security in the State”, CSP Haruna said.
