John Ighodaro, the Nigerian singer better known as Johnny Drille, has put out a song consoling single people on this year’s Valentine’s Day.
The season of love is the worst time to be single and alone. However, the 31-year-old sensational singer has released a song in which he encourages single men and women and offers them hope.
According to the artiste, even if one is single on Valentine’s Day, one should realize that it is not a crime, stating that Jesus didn’t have a Val.
In the song, the singer also inserts a witty line where he asked single people to feel no pressure but raise their heads to the sky. This is to avoid seeing girls and boys cuddled up in the romance that is typical of the season.
The special song, “You Are Only Single (Valentine Song)” released on Sunday has the following notable lyrics:
You are just single
It’s not a crime
You didn’t kill nobody
Didn’t take a life
You’re only single
And that’s fine
It’s not your fault
You’re alone on valentine
Remember that Jesus didn’t have a val
