NewsPhilanthropyPastor Promises Deborah’s Parents House In Port Harcourt, Jobs, Offers Scholarship To Children

Tragedy befell Emmanuel’s family last Thursday.

Deborah, the eldest child and a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, was stoned and burnt on the school campus for allegedly blaspheming Prophet Muhammad.

An incident that would make one wonder if God was, truly, with the family.

Despite the trauma the horrendous murder caused them, the family inhumed late Deborah’s remains on Saturday in their hometown, Tunga Magajiya, in the Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State.

Speaking to newsmen a day after the burial, the heartbroken parents disclosed that they have resolved not to send their seven surviving children to school again in order not to lose them to the cold hands of death like their late sister.

“I have no demands; I don’t want anything but one thing I know is that my children will never go to school again,” Deborah’s mother, Alheri Emmanuel said amid tears in a viral video.

Reacting to this in a Facebook post, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, asked those who are in contact with late Deborah’s family to reach out to him, promising to relocate the entire family to Port Harcourt for a better life.

His post read: “I just watched a video clip where the parents of Deborah Samuel said they will not be sending their children to school again. God forbid.

“Anyone with their contacts should inform them immediately that I, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere the General Overseas of OPM Church is relocating them to Port Harcourt.

“They would be staying in one of the OPM free estates where they will never pay rent forever. All their children are given automatic scholarships in OPM Free schools.

“I will get the father a job and I will also open a shop for the mother. Please get in touch with them immediately.”

This development has attested to the fact that despite the tragedy that befell Emmanuel’s family, God is still with them.
