ENUGU — Following the industrial action embarked on by electricity workers on Wednesday, the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC, calls on her esteemed customers and Neighborhood Associations to be vigilant and protect all electrical installations within their environment.
Emphasizing the need for collective safeguarding of the installations, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, Head of Corporate Communication, EEDC, revealed that based on past experience, unscrupulous persons might take advantage of electricity outages to vandalize electricity installations.
Ezeh stated, “Following the industrial strike action embarked upon by the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) power stations, operations across the franchise area of the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) have been disrupted.”
