Rev Fr. Victor Ishiwu of St Jude’s Catholic Church, Eburummiri Ibagwa-Aka, Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area in Enugu state has been kidnapped.
The catholic priest was kidnapped by men allegedly speaking Pidgin English and Fulani language.
Eye witness account revealed the gunmen invaded the church premises, shooting sporadically into the air thus causing all including the Rev. Fr. To scamper for safety.
However, they forced the parish house open and whisked Fr. Ishiwu out to unknown destination.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Daniel Ndukwe is yet to release any information on the alleged kidnap.
