A political pressure youth group, Arewa Decide 2023, says it is working assiduously to ensure credible elections are held next year in Nigeria.
The Adamawa State Coordinator of the group, Comrade Ahmed Bala Aliyu made the disclosure Saturday in Yola, the state capital while speaking with Journalists after a procession held by thousands of people under the auspices of the group to drum support for PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

“We have voter education and awareness campaign across the polling units across the country, educating the general public on the need to be orderly throughout the electioneering process in line with the amended electoral Act and peace Accord signed by the presidential candidates so that we can record a peaceful and hitch-free election devoid of rancor or chaos,” he said.

Aliyu charged the youths not to allow themselves to be used as agents of destruction, but to be the vanguard of peace, reminding those seeking elective positions they can succeed with the support of youths to represent communities at various positions in the country.
He added that the procession is to tell the world that the PDP Presidential candidate has the capacity and ability to rule the country and acceptability within his home state, Adamawa and Nigeria as a whole.
The State Coordinator revealed that the group has written a letter to both Atiku and Wike camps to shield their sword and work as a team for the victory of the PDP Presidential candidate, stressing that ”Election is not a war”.
