Nigerians have been urged to get their permanent voters’ cards (PVCs) ready ahead of the general election.
This important piece of advice was given by a group of masquerades who were captured in a video shared on Twitter on Saturday.
The masquerades, from the Obeledu community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, also drummed their support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
One of the masquerades, who spoke on behalf of the others, said, “Obeledu asked me to greet Peter Obi and tell him that they’re supporting his presidential bid. Please, go and get your PVC.”
Showing his PVC, he continued, “Some people will ask if I, a masquerade, also have my PVC. I do and if as a masquerade I have my PVC and hold onto it tightly, tell me why you should not have yours.”
