A video posted on TikTok has shown a Nigerian lady using a sewing machine to stitch a torn N100 note.
From the caption, “Not this period, abeg”, it was obvious that the lady resorted to that alternative due to the lingering cash scarcity in the country.
However, replying to someone who enquired if she had spent the money a few hours after sharing the video, the lady said she’s been unable to.
