A former BBNaija housemate, Tochukwu Okechukwu, popularly known as Tochi, has shared a message he received from a fraudster who posed as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

According to the screenshot of the chat shared by Tochi via his Instastory, the fraudster solicited N2,000 from the reality TV star.

‘Obi’ explained that the money was to be used to file a lawsuit to challenge the outcome of the February 25 presidential election.

The message reads: “Hello. This is Peter Obi, your proud LP candidate. I lost the election due to rigging but that’s not a problem. I need you to help me with 2k so I can file for a court case.”

He went ahead to drop his Kuda account number, expectant of the funds.

Tochi, who did not fall for the cheap scam, captioned the screenshot, “If a bird has your brain, it will be flying backwards.”

This is not the reality TV star’s first experience with fraudsters.

In September 2022, ‘Queen Elizabeth II’ reached out to him asking for $300 to travel back to London to nib an alleged plan of King Charles to usurp the throne in the bud.

The incident happened days after the Queen’s demise was announced.

The screenshot of the chat shared by Tochi read, “Hey! It’s me, Queen Elizabeth. I am not dead. Charles sent me to a deserted island so he could be king. I don’t have access to my royal money so could you please cash app me $300 so I can get back to the UK.”
