It was reported earlier that both Senator Abdulahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the party and Omisore were asked to resign from their positions.

Salihu Lukman, National Vice Chairman of the party, North Central, alleged that Omisore mismanaged campaign funds for the Osun State election.

He also alleged that the national secretariat of the party led by Adamu and Omisore didn’t fund President Bola Tinubu’s campaigns.

A reliable source told our reporter that those at the meeting currently are Senator Abubakar Kyari, Deputy National Chairman (North), Emma Enukwu Deputy National Chairman (South); National Vice Chairman (North-West), Salihu Lukman; National Vice Chairman (North-East), Salihu Mustapha; National Vice Chairman (North Central), Muazu Bawa; National Vice Chairman (South-West), Issacs Kekemeke; National Vice Chairman (South-East), Ejoroma Arodiogu and the Deputy National Secretary, Barr. A reliable source reported that Mouka was being careful over “any statement at this time that might put him into trouble.”

The source revealed that President Bola Tinubu had asked one of his aides to inform Adamu of the need for him to throw in the towel as “he is poised to reposition the party in line with his vision.”

Adamu and Omisore, were earlier accused of failure to fund the campaigns of Tinubu while also being accused of mismanagement of campaign funds in some states.

Omisore, according to sources is also at the verge of losing his position to Tinubu’s desire to reposition the party, was also accused of not accounting for the campaign funds released to him for the Osun governorship election.
