Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the Anambra State Governor has expressed warm greetings and congratulations to all Muslim brothers and sisters in Anambra State and across Nigeria as they commemorate the blessed occasion of Eid-el Maulud, which marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

A good will on Tuesday signed by Christian Aburime,  Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, read, “In wishing the Muslim Ummah happy Eid-el Maulud celebrations, the governor notes that this significant event holds great importance for Muslims worldwide, as it offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the teachings and principles exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

“The teachings of the Prophet Muhammad inspire values of peace, tolerance and unity, which are essential for the progress and harmony of any society.

“In celebrating this occasion, we are reminded of the responsibility we all share in building a more inclusive, harmonious, and progressive society, as well as sharing the spirit of generosity and kindness with fellow citizens.

“In Anambra State, we remain committed to upholding the values of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence that are central to the ethos of our great nation.

“Together, regardless of our faith, we can build a prosperous Anambra State and a better Nigeria,” the statement read.
