President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the names of three additional minister-nominees to the Senate for screening and possible confirmation.
The President sent a letter containing the names of the nominees to the upper legislative chamber on Tuesday.
The nominees are Jamila Bio Ibrahim from Kwara State, Balarebe Abbas Lawal from Kaduna State and Olawale Olawande from Ondo State.
Ibrahim and Olawande were appointed as the minister of youth and minister of state for youth respectively in September. Their screening and confirmation by the Senate is still pending.
Lawal is a replacement for ex-governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State who, alongside two others, was not confirmed for a ministerial position by the Senate in August.
