The 4th convocation ceremony of Paul University Awka has been slated for Friday, 6th October, 2023. The convocation which will feature Mr. Valentine Ozigbo who was the PDP candidate in the last Anambra State Governorship election as the guest convocation lecture, will hold within the premises of the University in Awka metropolis from 12 noon on Friday. This event will see to the award of first degrees, advanced degrees and honourary degrees to deserving graduands and individuals. Paul University Awka, is established and owned by the Anglican Communion.
According to the press statement by Prof. Godwin Onu, Adjunct Vice-Chancellor Administration of the University, this convocation of Paul University will also announce Archbishop Metropolitan, His Grace, Most Reverend Henry Ndukaku, as the Chancellor of the University.
The 2023 convocation of Paul University, Awka, will have about 385 graduands, with four doctorate degree awardees. But also, the late Most Reverend MSC Anikwenwa, retired Archbishop of Province on the Niger and Dean, Church of Nigeria; will receive a posthumous merit ward of service by the University.
Ebuka graduated with a second-class upper-division degree in Political Science from the University of Calabar in Nigeria. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Political Science with a specialization in Government and Development Studies from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria. His academic background and professional experience have equipped him with a deep understanding of political dynamics and governance issues.
