The Adamawa Emirate Council has dismissed Alh. Gidado Abubakar Aliyu District Head of Ribadu in Fufore Local Government Area of the state from office.
The dismissed District Head has been on suspension since April 2023, and no reason was given for the suspension which culminated in dismissal.
The dismissal is contained in a letter signed by Kabiru Bakari, Tariya Adamawa, Ag Secretary Adamawa Emirate Council, Yola addressed to the deposed District Head.
According to the letter addressed to the District Head, the dismissal takes effect from 3/11/2023.
The letter reads in part: “I am directed by the Adamawa Emirate Council to write and convey to you the approval of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State for your Dismissal the District Head of Ribadu, vide letter ref No. as MCA/GHY/S 24/T/Vol.11.201 dated 2/11/2023.
“You are to hand over all official documents in your possession including your identity card to the Ag. Secretary Adamawa Emirate Council, Yola, accordingly.”
