Nigeria has qualified for the quarter-final of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023) by beating Cameroon 2-0.
The two teams played desperately to prove a point at the game at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan, but Atlanta forward Ademola Lookman scored the two goals that sealed Nigeria’s win, for the Super Eagles with one goal in each half.
Lookman goals came from an impressive team effort of the Nigerian squad and the super performance of Napoli’s star, Victor Osimhen, who put pressure on the Cameroonian defense team.
It was Oumar Gonzalez, the Indomitable Lions who gave the work to mark Osimhen – and this work and the Al-Raed defender did well.
