A Kano High Court has directed the Police Commissioner to evict the deposed Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero from the mini palace on the state road in Kano.
The court presided by Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu who gave the order on Monday, May 27, 2024, also ordered the deposed Emirs of Kano, Bichi, Gaya, Rano, and Karaye to stop parading themselves as Emirs

Those restrained are Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar II, Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa, and Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Gaya.
The case was adjourned to 11th June 2024 for a hearing.
