A United Kingdom University, Online Business School Coventry, has developed a teaching and learning model to attract Nigerian working-class students interested in advanced degrees abroad. The university which offers short courses and higher degrees in a broad range of professional courses including accounting, business management, information technology, health and social care, hotel and hospitality, human resource management, and a variety of other courses, offers a complete hybrid education at a comparatively more affordable cost. This is a major attraction for many working-class Nigerian applicants.
Also, the university has an important link with establishments in British mainstream commerce like the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, hospitality, the UK’s Skills Funding Agency, and the Information Commissioner’s Office, among other partners.
Ahead of the September intake, Online Business School Coventry has made its offer to Nigerian applicants, promising both flexible remote learning time and quality learning at a far more affordable rate. Similarly, the school offers students a far less disruptive or better, work-advanced learning balance.
