The sudden death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah two weeks ago remains a shock as many still grapple with coming to terms that indeed, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has passed away. People are still in shock struggling to accept the unfortunate event as a reality that now is, especially youthful allies of the Senator.
However, politicians, Church leaders, and businessmen have continued to express their sympathies to the family of the departed Senator, as well as pour encomiums on the memory of the deceased. The Bishop of Nnewi Anglican Diocese, His Lordship, Bishop Ndubisi Obi, had expressed sadness over the demise of the Senator as he signed the condolence register in the Maitama, Abuja residence of Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah. Similarly, Rt. Hon. Chukwudi Orizu, the former Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, had also condoled with the family of the deceased Senator while praising his short but impactful life.
Also, Sir Azuka Okwuosa, a chieftain of the APC, has signed the condolence register at the home of the Senator in Abuja. According to Okwuosa, Sen. Ubah’s death is sad, shocking, and unbelievable. “I do sadly state once again that the feeling of Senator Ubah’s demise remains as shocking today, as it was when we all heard about it”, Azuka Okwuosa said in a statement, while admonishing that the Senator’s life remains a lesson “in taking the right and kind decisions for the future of our people.”
