Barrister Ifeanyi Mbanusi, aspirant for Idemili North LGA Chairmanship on the platform of the Labour Party- LP, has intensified stakeholders’ engagement both within his party and across Idemili North LGA, ahead of the September 28 local government election in Anambra State. Mbanusi who has interfaced with the leadership of his party at the ward and local government levels, also gave different support to the party to strengthen LP in Idemili North LGA.
Over the last weekend, Barrister Mbanusi played host to the leaders and members of LP in Umuoji ward. Also, he hosted the women’s wing of the party across the twelve wards in Idemili North LGA and in the party’s state executive. These engagements by Barrister Mbanusi have triggered massive support and endorsements of his aspiration from the LP party faithful and stakeholders of Idemili North, who are confident in his leadership capabilities.
As an old member of the LP, Mbanusi’s longstanding membership of the party is a testament to his loyalty to the party. With his support mobilizing party members and voters during the last election in 2023, his aspiration appeals to many as a befitting desire for public service. However, to some Idemili North stakeholders, Barrister Ifeanyi Mbanusi is a well-known figure and a stakeholder whose strength of character and integrity can easily be attested to, consequent upon which it is not a tall task for them to take a position.
Ebuka graduated with a second-class upper-division degree in Political Science from the University of Calabar in Nigeria. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Political Science with a specialization in Government and Development Studies from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria.
