Residents of the community and its environs were not only enveloped in ecstasy but jubilated as they showered encomiums on the Delta State Governor, Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Chairman of Ika South Local Government, Engr Jerry Ehiwarior for the completion of the substation, which has put an end to years of blackout.

Some of the community leaders who spoke to newsmen, including Chief P. C. Aliemeke, Mr. Simon Okocha, President-General of Ekuku-Agbor community, and Chief Isaac Ebonka of Agbor-Alidinma, said they were glad to witness this historic moment after years of lost hope.
