The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a new reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, across its partner retail outlets nationwide.
In a statement released to the public on Thursday, the refinery disclosed that Nigerians can now purchase petrol at significantly reduced prices, depending on the region.
According to the new pricing schedule, petrol will sell at ₦875 per litre in Lagos, while residents of the South West will pay ₦885.
In the North East, South South, and South East, the price has been pegged at ₦905 per litre, while the North West and North Central will access the product at ₦895.
These adjusted prices apply to sales from major retail partners including MRS, Ardova Plc (AP), Heyden, Optima Energy, TechnoOil, and Hyde Energy. The uniform pricing among these partners aims to ensure transparency and fair access to the product.
The move is expected to bring some relief to motorists and households grappling with high fuel costs.
The refinery also assured Nigerians of the quality of its fuel products, saying they are “refined for better engine performance and are environmentally friendly.”
Dangote Petroleum Refinery urged customers to report any instance of non-compliance with the new pricing regime through the following numbers: +234 707 470 2099 and +234 707 470 2100.
