The Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, has received an award and honourary fellowship at the Centre for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at the University of Oxford. The award was conferred on the Vice Chancellor at the 14th International Conference on Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE), which was held at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
Professor Liman, who presented a paper at the conference entitled “Leadership Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Organizational Success: Perspectives from Leaders and Followers,” demonstrated her competence in thought leadership to the global audience at the University of Oxford. Reacting to this, Professor Ktso Nghargbu, the University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor and Director of Exchange Programmes, described the Vice Chancellor’s paper and recognition as a global spotlight on the VC’s “commitment to institutional leadership in higher education both nationally and internationally”, Professor Ktso said, while congratulating the Vice Chancellor, Professor Liman.
The Oxford University ROGE Conference is an event that attracts scholars, policymakers, thought leaders, researchers, and various categories of experts from around the globe to the University of Oxford.
For some reasons, Nasarawa State University has remained one of Nigeria’s premier State-owned universities in terms of visibility and foreign recognitions, which are pointers to the quality of teaching and learning at the Institution.
