The Federal Polytechnic, Bali in Taraba State has received no fewer than 4,489 applications at the close of applications for vacant positions at the institution.
Dr Mohammed Usman, Rector of the Institution, disclosed this while briefing the Governing Council of the institution at its 5th meeting held at the Rector’s Conference Room in Bali.
Usman explained that the next phase would be the shortlisting, and suitable candidates would be invited for an interview.
“The shortlisted applicants will be communicated on the date for the interview via their respective addresses or phone numbers as provided by the candidates”, the rector explained.
The council commended the management for operating in line with the Federal Ministry of Education and the institution’s guidelines.
Recall that the institution advertised the vacant positions in compliance with the law in the Daily Trust and Punch Newspapers on 2nd July 2025, and applications closed on 13th August 2025.
