…ONSA, Kaduna Govt Dismiss Claims
Former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that authorities in Kaduna were sending money and food to bandits to create a false narrative of improvement.
El-Rufai, who spoke on Channels Television’s programme Politics Today, cited a report by SBM Intelligence, which he claimed showed worsening insecurity in Kaduna, Katsina and Zamfara due to governors “humouring the criminals.”
The former governor said: “It does not make sense to empower enemies of the state.”
Speaking further, he predicted defeat for Tinubu in future elections despite his control of national institutions.
“He will be defeated; he does not have the pathway to win. I have done the arithmetic. Tinubu has not lost an election before, let us wait and see,” he said.
He said his criticisms of President Tinubu stemmed from “poor performance” and insisted that support for Tinubu’s victory did not deprive him of the right to speak out against the administration’s failings.
