Imisi Ayanwale has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, taking home a total prize worth ₦150 million, including ₦80 million in cash, after an electrifying finale held on Sunday night in Lagos.
Imisi secured the title with 42.8 per cent of the total votes, far ahead of her closest rival, Dede, who garnered 15.94 per cent, and third-place finisher Koyin with 15.23 per cent.
The full breakdown among the final nine contestants was as follows:
- Imisi — 42.8 per cent.
- Dede — 15.94 per cent.
- Koyin — 15.23 per cent.
- Sultana — 7.94 per cent.
- Kola — 5.48 per cent.
- Jason Jae — 4.84 per cent.
- Mensan — 3.54 per cent.
- Isabella — 3.07 per cent.
- Kaybobo — 1.72 per cent.
This season began with 29 housemates, making it one of the largest casts in the show’s history.
During the course of the final week, Faith, one of the finalists, was disqualified from the competition after an altercation with Sultana during a task rehearsal.
The finale, held in Lagos and anchored by presenter Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, was marked by a spectacular stage production.
As per tradition, after the final housemates exited, the house lights were turned off, a moment symbolic of the show’s closure and emotional intensity for viewers.
Imisi, whose full name is Opeyemi Ayanwale, is 23 years old and hails from Oyo State. She is a graduate of the University of Ibadan and worked as a fashion designer before joining the show.
Throughout the season, she distinguished herself with her humour, candidness, and ability to turn tense moments into entertaining ones.
Many fans and commentators noted that her wit and resilience made her deeply relatable. Her fanbase, known as “Ijoba 606,” played a pivotal role in rallying support during voting phases.
She becomes the fourth female winner in the show’s history, joining Mercy Eke, Phyna, and Ilebaye. She also joins the lineage of past winners including Katung, Efe, Miracle, Laycon, Whitemoney, and Kellyrae.
