Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has emerged the candidate of the All Progressive Congress for the September 2020 governorship election in Edo state.
Having led in the primary election with 27,838 votes, the chairman of the election Commission, Governor Hope Uzodinma, declared him the winner of the election.
Ize-Iyamu clinched the party’s ticket, defeating Dr Pius Odubu and Osaro Obaze who had 3,776 and 2,751 votes respectively.
The results turned in by the returning officers in the 18 local government areas.
