The Enugu State Government has directed all state civil servants to resume work on Monday 3rd of August, 2020.
The directive was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya.
Ortuanya further advised civil servants to continue to adhere to all precautionary measures as outlined by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, for containment of the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
“Wash your hands with water and soap or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer, wear face shield/mask and maintain social distancing” SSG advises.
It would be recalled that following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the Enugu State Government on March 23, 2020, directed all civil servants in the state to work from their homes as part of measures to contain the spread of the viral disease.
