The Bua Foundation on Monday donated 3 equipped ambulances and fifty thousand (50,000) face masks to the Bauchi state government as part of its contribution in the fight against the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the state.
Alhaji Abdussamad Isyaka Rabiu, Chairman of the Foundation while presenting the items to the Governor at Government House Bauchi said the gesture is to support the state government towards curtailing the spread of the pandemic.

“Your Excellency, the Bua foundation, commended your effort in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. You have done remarkable achievements in tackling the spread of the virus.
“The foundation will continue to support the government and other institutions in fighting the pandemic. We have donated items worth over seven billion naira (N7b) in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria”. He said.
The Chairman of the foundation who was represented by Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong, one time Minister of State for Health pledged continued support of the foundation to achieve the desired objectives.
Governor Bala Mohammed while handing over the items to the state’s COVID-19 Task Force, directed for the judicious utilization.
“On behalf of the government and people of Bauchi State, I wish to show our deepest appreciation to my very good friend Alhaji for this very good donation and other humanitarian support to Bauchi state”. He said.
Mohammed said his administration is ready for a partnership with the foundation and thanked members of CACOVID-19 for their outstanding contributions towards the fight against the OVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
