The mother of Don Davis, the 11-year-old boy who was allegedly molested in college has denied demanding any amount of money as compensation from the school management.
Report that parents of the Victim had sent a letter to Deeper Life High School in Akwa Ibom requesting for a sum of N100m as compensation for the torture their son was subjected to in the school has been making rounds on the media since yesterday.
However, Deborah Okezie on Saturday, falsified the claim, saying justice for her son is a priority.
“I never told any lawyer to demand 100m on my behalf. All I have demanded so far is justice for my son. If I want to place charges, I know the right amount to demand, not 100m. Those reports are untrue,” she said.
WAP had reported how the mother had called out the school over the alleged sexual molestation of her son in a new Facebook video.
According to her, Don Davis was moved by the school principal from the junior students’ dormitory to a dormitory filled with senior students because he was bedwetting
She alleged that some students habitually inserted their fingers and toes in his anus during his stay with the senior students.
“Look at a child I sent to school; he came back with a broken anus.
“People who have children in boarding school don’t know what these children go through, boarding school of these days is not like the boarding school of those days.
“They will remove his boxer and push their legs and hands into his anus.
“They said if he complained he will be a dead man. Please, help me share this video until it gets to the appropriate authorities,” she said.
Don Davis has been moved to the Sexual Assault Referral Centre whilst the investigation is conducted by the state police.
