Nigeria’s Central Bank governor, Godwin Emefiele has picked up the N100 million presidential nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Emefiele’s nomination form was picked up on Friday, West African Pilot News learnt.
The development is coming after months of speculations regarding the political aspirations of the Agbor, Delta State-born former Managing Director of Zenith Bank.
Emefiele’s decision to step into the murky waters of the overcrowded 2023 political race has made him the first Central Bank governor to join active politics and seek an elective position while in office.
