The Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim has pleaded with the federal government to grant freedom to the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Archbishop Ibezim, made the plea during his charge at the Third Session of the Twelfth Synod of Awka Diocese, held at Saint Peter’s Anglican Church, Abagana.
According to the Archbishop, “it is my wish and also in the wish of the Synod that I’m pleading with the federal government that Nnamdi Kanu is released immediately”.
