A video of a magnificent Igbo masquerade has gone viral and stirred reactions on social media.
The masquerade was being paraded around the village during the Christmas season to the admiration of many onlookers.
The masquerade is popularly called eagle masquerade or ‘mmanwu ugo’ in the Igbo language because it looks exactly like an eagle.
Nigerians appreciated the cultural heritage and many called for it to be promoted and showcased to the world.
